Herd health monitoring

Herd health monitoring is essential to identifying problem areas which can then be addressed in the herd health plan resulting in an improvement in the health, welfare and productivity of animals.

Herd health monitoring requires farmers to keep accurate herd health records and we understand that this can be daunting if you have not previously kept such records. We are able to help with record keeping, whether you are using a computerised recording system or the traditional paper way (we even have recording sheets available which have been specially designed by our vets).

We are able to analyse your records using Total Vet, a new computer programme recently released, which is able to analyse fertility, mastitis, lameness and other health records and present them in an easy to understand graphical format.
